Sharing Our Values
Core Value
Honoring God and His Word
We value God’s Word as the source and standard of our life in Christ.
But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God,
and that by believing you may have life in his name. John 20:31
Working Values
Worshiping God
We cherish the grace of God and our response in worship.
Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching. Hebrews 10:25
Living in Prayer
We are confident God uses prayer to answer our needs and to shape us into His will.
This is what the Lord says, he who made the earth, the Lord who formed it and established it—the Lord is his name: ‘Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.’ Jeremiah 33:2-3
Equipping Disciples
We invite, train, and encourage people for ministry.
…to prepare God’s people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ. Ephesians 4:12-13
Sharing the Gospel
We believe all our communities are mission fields.
He says: “It is too small a thing for you to be a servant to restore the tribes of Jacob and bring back those of Israel I have kept. I will also make you a light to the Gentiles, that you may bring my salvation to the ends of the earth.” Isaiah 49:6
Serving Others
Like Jesus, we are not here to be served, but to serve.
“Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet. I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you.” John 13:14-15
Bringing Hope
We trust that Jesus brings hope and healing to the suffering.
And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us. Romans 5:2b-5
