Alpha is for YOU!
The Alpha Journey….. Alpha is an excellent way to meet new friends, learn the basics of Christianity, get your questions answered, or give your faith a boost. Alpha is a unique "meet-you-where-you-are" course. Adults of any age or background can benefit from the relaxed atmosphere and low-pressure setting Alpha provides. Your journey through Alpha is sure to be rewarding.

The course includes a kickoff informational dinner. Pre-registration is requested. Child care is provided at the dinner, as well as all the sessions.
Learn and Laugh
Each evening begins with dinner. There is no charge for the Alpha course or the dinner. Following the dinner, there is a talk. The series of talks includes topics such as:
- Who is Jesus?
- Why did Jesus Die?
- How Can I Be Sure of My Faith?
- Why and How Should I Read the Bible?
Ask Anything
After the talk, you'll have an opportunity to meet with your small group and discuss what you've just heard. No question is seen as too simple or too controversial at Alpha.
When and Where?
Alpha is an 11-week course with 15 sessions. There is also an opportunity to attend a day away. This is a key part of the course, as well as being great fun, so please write the dates on your calendar.

When Does Alpha Meet?
The next Alpha class at Woodbury Lutheran will begin Thursday, January 13, 2005.
The evening begins with dinner at 6:00 p.m. and promptly ends at 8:30 p.m. All evenings begin with a meal. Child care is provided.
Alpha Informational Dinner Party: This event on January 13, 2005 is the beginning of the Winter Alpha Course. Pre-registration is required prior to January 9 for this special informational dinner and Alpha preview.

* Reserve February 26 from 8:45 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. on your calendars now for the Holy Spirit Day at Woodbury Lutheran. It's a special event that many participants find to be a highlight of the Alpha course. Child care is available for this event.
