Redeeming Eve

Redeeming Eve

Woodbury Lutheran’s Women’s Retreat
April 11—13
Friday evening to Sunday noon
Lake Wapogasset Retreat Center
Amery Wisconsin

Our speaker

Julie Wright is a woman with a story.

Our topic

Redeeming Eve will explore the basis of a woman's identity and self-esteem, her influence and relationship with men, and the expression of her sexuality. Through a candid study of the lives of women in the Bible, we will see God’s provision to redeem our womanhood and see what a “redeemed woman” looks like.

Lake Wapogasset Retreat Center

Our retreat center is one we have visited many times. It is located on wooded land next to a lake in Amery, Wisconsin. We will stay in Anderson Hall. Our rooms are very modern and include the linen (sheets, pillow, blankets, towels) we need.

Our meeting room is also in Anderson Hall. The windows look out to a beautiful wooded lot. The dining hall is next door.

Our schedule will include listening to the speaker, singing, quiet time, small group time, fun girl stuff and of course worship. The scheduled day will end around 9:00 with time to head to bed or stay up and visit or play board games.

There are always lots of new women, so if you’ve never been to one of our retreats, you won’t be alone! You will have the chance to make great, new friends!
