Sanctuary Bible Studies - taught by Pastor Dean Nadasdy God, Christians and Politics Participants will look at the role of Chrisitand in the politcal arena. Here are some of the quiestions to be addressed: How do we relate to a culture that seems less and less Christian? What about the separation of church and state? How do "Red letter Christians" apply the teaching of Jesus to their political decistions? What makes a good politcal leader?

Business By The Book

Do you own or manage a business that makes you responsible for finances and personnel? Do you involve God in your important decisions? If you desire to make God your business partner, Business By The Book, a Crown Financial video course, is just for you! Classes will be held Sunday mornings at 9:30 a.m. beginning September 14, facilitated by Dan Christiansen. Registrations are appreciated so that we can order materials. Friendship Group

Friendship Group - For Adults with Developmental Disabilities - Meeting from 9:30-10:30 in the Joshua Room, this group study and fellowship teaches Biblical truths to adults with mild to severe developmental disabilities. It is a fun, loving class that shares the love of Jesus.

New Member Class

New Member Class - This class meets to share Woodbury Lutheran Church's mission with those interested in joining. It meets for 8 weeks and an optional 9th week. Mere Christianity and The Screwtape Letters

Young Adult Study (Twenty Somethings) - Study: Mere Christianity and The Screwtape Letters by C.S. Lewis. "Mere Christianity" was originally created over 50 years ago from a series of radio broadcasts Lewis did over BBC Radio in Great Britain. This book will provide for endless discussions from its thought provoking view of faith in Jesus Christ and the life He wants for us all. The second book is the Screwtape Letters. This is a satire portraying what a series of letters between an apprentice demon and his mentor might look like as the apprentice works to defeat a new Christian's faith.
