Our Mission
The Mission of the Career Transition Connection is to provide a caring Christian environment for people in job transition. This will be accomplished through providing support, career transition resources, and networking opportunities. This is a ministry that will be made available to church members and the community as a whole.
Those in transition may include people between jobs, considering job moves, entering the workplace for the first time, or exploring new opportunities.
Support
Support for participants includes prayer and sharing through personal and group interaction. This support will help participants feel a sense of Christian community and caring while increasing the general awareness to the congregation of this needed ministry. A self-sustaining strategy is intended in which individuals who have been through a job-search process will help others in their search.
Resources
Speakers include expert professionals in the field of human resources, job placement, career growth/development, business and personal planning; job and life coaches, financial advisors; clergy and licensed therapists.
