4th to 6th Grade

Fall session will begin on September 16.

A Typical Day at Kid's Club

9:20 a.m.

All students in 4th thru 6th Grade meet in the Isaiah Room for an exciting Large Group Worship and focused teaching time through a variety of venues.

9:50 a.m.

Kids go to classrooms for a Small Group time that includes discussion and activities that all focus on the teaching point for the day. The curriculum seeks to help the kids see that God's Word is relevant for today and to apply it to their lives.

10:30 a.m.

Parents may pick up their children from their classrooms or make arrangements to meet them.

Grade Level Expectations

The child will:

  1. Be able to list all of the books of the Bible in order.
  2. Identify the major divisions of the Bible.
  3. Name the books in each division.
  4. Use a Bible concordance and Bible atlas.
  5. Understand stories of the Bible, personalities and be able to parallel them to people today.

The child will:

  1. Acknowledge that God wants His people to trust, love, and obey Him.
  2. Know that God helps each person to mature.
  3. Begin to serve in the church.
  4. Know how to become a missionary.
  5. Understand what a disciple is.
  6. Be able to share a personal faith and to lead a friend to Christ.
  7. Understand scriptural principles for decision-making.
  8. Know what is good for our bodies; why we shouldn’t take drugs, drink, smoke, or be involved in premarital sex.
  9. Develop close peer friendships within the church.
