Head
Knowledge
The child will:
- The Bible is true and from God.
- God knows everything.
- Jesus is God's Son.
- God listens to me and answers and I know God will forgive me. my prayers.
Heart
Response
The child will:
- Understand and demonstrate that Jesus loves him/her through words, song, or sign.
- Understand that when I sin I should be sorry and I know God will forgive me.
- Begin to talk to God is prayer.
- I can show God's love to others by helping and being kind.
Kindergarten

Knowledge
The child will:
- Recognize the word "Bible. It is true!!
- Know who wrote the Bible (God told men what to write).
- Explain why God sent Jesus (His loving plan to give us everlasting life).
- Begin to understand that prayer is communication with God.
- Know 10 songs.
Heart
Response
The child will:
- Know that God loves and cares for him.
- Understand that God sent the baby Jesus who grew to be the man Jesus.
- Respond by demonstrating God's love to others through kindness, helpfulness, & thankfulness.
- Exhibit ways of being a helper at home & church.
- Begin talking to God through prayer.

Welcome the children, take attendance, children color, do puzzles, etc. |
9:30 a.m. |
Large Group Time - music, puppet drama, finger plays, etc. |
9:50 a.m. |
Small Group Time in assigned classrooms.

Children will be picked up at their classrooms by their parents. |
