Local Outreach
We are a community gathering place, opening our church to many organizations and reaching out to the community through our Neighbor -2- Neighbor and Porchlight ministries.
Outreach also includes service in our community. Our members are encouraged to participate in local service projects such as Habitat for Humanity, Operation Christmas Child and St. Martin's Table. The WLC Ding-A-Lings are an army within an army, regularly collecting money for the Salvation Army's red kettle program during Christmas.
We also commit church financial resources to local missions, including:
- Lutheran Inter-City Network Coalition (LINC) Trinity First Lutheran (TFL) in Minneapolis
- Campus Missions International - international students at the Univeristy of Minnesota
- Hispanic Ministry in St. Paul
- Prison ministries
- Trinity First
- Refugee Ministry
- Children's Summer Camps
- Christian Cupboard
- Celebrate Recovery
