Uganda is a country that is alive with hope and energy, but is also facing monumental challenges. One challenge is the vast number of orphaned children. The ministry of Sammy Children's Centre International (SCCI) is to welcome and love children who have no home or family. Robert and Gertrude Sennyonjo felt led by the Lord to branch out in ministry. They recognize the tremendous need to care for orphans in Uganda.
In June, 2006 WLC began as partners in ministry to care for the children of Uganda thru SCCI. Shannon Golden is the liaison for the ministry.

Here are pastors and members from three village churches,
following a service where the pastors distributed Bibles,
donated as a gift from SCCI.
