March is Project Home Month at WLC!
Project Home is a ministry that hosts homeless families.
For the entire month of March WLC will have the opportunity to serve as a host. Two shifts of ministry partners will be needed every night in March:
- 6:00 p.m. until 8:45 p.m.
- 8:30 p.m. until 7:00 a.m. weekdays
- 8:30 p.m. until 9:30 a.m. weekends
A separate room and rollaway beds are provided for the overnight volunteers. Volunteers normally get a full night
of sleep. This is a ministry for all ages and many have found this to be a unique opportunity for their entire family to serve together. Friends and neighbors have signed up to serve together and people who have signed up individually have had the chance to meet and serve with a new friend.
Training is provided and is recommended to help you
feel prepared and comfortable serving as a volunteer.
