Healing Service - Third Sunday of the Month in the Fireside Room (12:15)
Join us in the Fireside Room on the third Sunday of each month at 12:15 for our healing service. In this service we follow the Biblical mandate found in James 5:13-16:
"Is any of you in trouble? He should pray. Is anyone happy? Let him sing songs of praise. Is any of you sick? He should call the Elders of the church to pray for him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven. Therefore confess your sins to each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective."
In this service we have the opportunity to sing, pray for and with one another, confess our sins, listen to the Word, receive anointing oil (for those who desire from a WLC Elder) and receive Holy Communion. The service is led by the WLC Pastoral staff and assisted by the WLC Elders.
All are welcome to this time of prayer and healing, where we express our hope in Jesus, the one who can heal our physical needs and more importantly our spiritual needs.
