Lent Worship

The Psalms were written by real people experiencing real emotions. At times, those emotions were joyful and celebratory; sometimes they were filled with despair and frustration. The Psalms of Lament capture the emotions of those going through hardships of life in a broken world. They show our separation from God and the despair that leads to - as well as the cries to - the Lord for deliverance. These Psalms are as relevant today as they were thousands of years ago when they were written.
