We all journey through difficult times in life.
At WLC, we don’t believe anyone should walk that road alone.
What is Stephen Ministry?
Life can be hard. WLC has Stephen Ministers ready and available to come alongside you through your journey – many of whom have walked through difficulties themselves - in a judgment- free, caring, and confidential environment. These men and women are trained to provide one-on-one care to people of all ages...to listen, care for, encourage, and walk with those going through difficult times in life.
"My Stephen Minister listens - really listens. He doesn't judge me or tell me what to do but walks side-by-side with me."
-Brian"My Stephen Minister's weekly visits became an anchor in my life - something I could rely on when everything else was so uncertain."
~ Heather
In what types of situations do Stephen Ministers provide care?
Our Stephen Ministers walk with people experiencing grief, divorce, chronic or terminal illness, job loss, loss of a home, military deployment, spiritual crisis, and many other life struggles.
Where Do I Start?
We recognize that it takes courage to reach out in times of need and we understand! The first step is to fill out the form below and you will be contacted by Stephen Leaders. After a confidential initial conversation, they will match you with one of our caring Stephen Ministers (men matched to men, women matched to women) who will meet with you on a weekly basis to listen, care, encourage, and provide emotional and spiritual support. The care relationship lasts as long as the need for care exists.
