"Sounds like they are going to try and let him come out of the sedation today and see how he is doing. Kari and I are nervous as we are not sure how he will handle having the breathing tube, new IVs, etc in and we hope he will be able to be calm and keep himself safe. He will also be having an ECHO today to see his heart function.

Also, KTTC ran the story last night on the news. The version on the internet is a little longer and can be found at this link:

Rob posted this update on Cameron, who was Mayo's 500th heart transplant surgical patient. "Cam got through the washout and they were able to get his chest closed. Now our biggest concern is getting his kidney function back. Continue to pray for improvement of the kidneys and overall recovery. Also, KTTC (NBC Rochester) and Mayo media interviewed us and KTTC will be running a story at 10. Cam is the 500th heart transplant at Mayo which may lead to some other stories as well.

An update on my sister-in-law Cheryl Starner. When Cheri went to get the tube ports put in for chemotherapy, the second port into the stomach could not be inserted. There was fluid in the stomach cavity that prevented that port from being installed. Therefore the chemotherapy plan had to be changed. Now the chemotherapy will be administered through a chest port. Treatment started last Tuesday. She will have nothing else the rest of this week, nor the next two weeks. To summarize, she will have one day of chemotherapy every three weeks for three sessions or nine weeks. After these three sessions, she will then be reevaluated to determine if they can put the intraperitoneal port into her stomach at that time. If they can, they will then go back to the original chemotherapy program. Thank you everyone for all your prayers.

My sister suffers from Meniere's disease and was also involved in a parking lot accident in which her back was injured. On Friday, May 10th, she had surgery to give her a better quality of life in view of these maladies. Please pray for speedy and complete recovery without complications, and that the surgery was entirely successful.

Cameron Ulrich\\\'s family

Cameron is being supplied with a donor heart today. He is off ECMO and on the cardiac bypass machine, as heart transplant surgery is in progress today. He will be in surgery most of the day. Please pray for this surgery to be successful and for Cameron to live a long, happy, and healthy life. Pray also for the donor family, that they will eventually find peace in knowing their child saved the life of another child.

AC 10: 38, \"You know about Jesus of Nazareth and how God poured out on Him the Holy Spirit and power. He went everywhere doing good and healing all who were under the power of the devil, for God was with Him.\"

To the anonymous person who commented on my post earlier....I kinda understand what your saying....but I still feel like Im not loved or appreciated like everyone else around me is....cause when I look around everyone is happy, laughing, cheerful, loved, and appreciated...I feel like I'm the complete opposite of all of those things....thanks for the advice though.... -the 15 year old girl

Cheryl Starner, c/o Marj Starner

Marj Starner asks for prayer for her sister-in-law, Cheryl Starner, who has been diagnosed with two types of cancer (stomach and ovarian), which is rare and are at stages 3 and 4 respectively. She has had two ports inserted for chemo, one in each location. Today, chemo treatments begin, and Cheryl is scared. Please pray for these treatments to be effective in eradicating the cancer, for good management of side effects, and for ability to rely on and trust the Lord Jesus.

Plea for healing. PS 6: 4, "Come, O Lord, and make me well. In Your kindness save me."
